I like to use these on my LO's bum because they are softer and gentler on his skin than traditional disposable wipes. I use more tea tree oil, lavender, and vitamin E than the package insert says, but the rags sometimes smell a bit musty. I have to make sure that I regularly rummage through the entire box of tissues and wash (and change) the pad on the bottom of the heating pad fairly often (more often than the leaflet recommends) to avoid mold. Also, the side seams of the napkins came undone after the first or second wash in a conventional washing machine, so I had to zigzag the edges to prevent further fraying. They hold up better in my new front loading washing machine (which doesn't have an agitator). If I had more time I would look for organic terry cloth and just make it myself instead of buying it.
