Very stable and better load-bearing thanks to the clip on the back. I've lost some desk space with my arms stretched out behind my back. Also, it really depends on the position of the hole you are making on your table. I am happy with the purchase. I'll update if there are any issues, although I highly doubt it. I also recommend if you insert the bolt with a ratchet wrench. The little one they give you is great but uses a ratchet instead of saving you time.
