Good for sharpening a young minor league player's reflexes

I bought a couple of sets of SKLZ mini kickballs to go with this stick (which were $9.99 for 12 and now 19, $99 for 12 Son Revane!), but I found the cost of the SKLZ bat prohibitive. This racquet has the same dimensions and weight as the SKLZ racquet. My husband and I toss mini balls to our grandson and although he is athletic by nature, it was fun watching him accurately hit those small targets with this flimsy racquet. When my husband took our son to the baseball coach a few years ago, he used a similar pattern and threw two balls at the same time and called "up" or "down," and my son had to hit the ball that was called. It's just another way to sharpen your reflexes. By the way, if you're looking for other training equipment, we also bought our grandson an SKLZ Hurricane Category 4 baseball trainer and he trains in his basement all winter. Now that he's in the park watching his shots, it's obvious that his accuracy and range have improved greatly. SKLZ also makes great soccer training equipment for your aspiring soccer player.
