Review on TORC Women's Glove (Beverly Hills): Fashionable Protection for Women's Hands by Scott Galloway

Revainrating 3 out of 5

OK - depending on the price range.

I would not rate 'J. soil” and others. First, I'm big in most gloves. But the large (Downey Khaki) was $63 and the X-Large was $26. Read reviews and little fingers up and down with Revain Prime. Thought I'd try x-large for over half the price and come back when needed. Good news: 1) They arrived via Prime as promised. 2) They cost $26 (I wouldn't pay more than $39.99 for them) Bad news: 1) First and foremost is the color. I ordered the Downey Khaki and based on the pictures and the other khaki gloves on the scope I was expecting a lighter tan/khaki. Instead, the color is a very dark burgundy/tobacco/brown. Kinda weird brown. 2) I ordered X-Large and received a Large. Not a big problem as initially I would have preferred to order a large size (but not for $63 vs $26.3). I agree with others that they are not the best quality (they are made in Pakistan as there are many cheaper leather goods). The skin is thin, the stitches seem to tear over time, the stitches can be felt on the fingertips. I expect skating to only last one season. 4) Sizes: large "smaller", tighter but not too tight. I'm also worried that X-Large might be too big. The initial velcro cuff is tighter/smaller to keep your hand in, considering it has velcro to tighten if needed. 5) Black smooth skin on the palm should be worn. she is too smooth. $26 I'll keep it and wear it or not. The biggest problems are unexpected color and reflective lace stitching.
