Thin plastic, not hard like quilting rulers

You are very thin. They're good for the price, but they're not solid acrylic like most quilting rulers. Caution is advised if you intend to use a disc cutter. They're great for marking patterns, but if you're expecting them to be as hard as quilting rulers, you'll be disappointed. I recommend them for this price.
