I have had a set of Cascade Mountain trekking poles for a number of years and have been very happy with them. When I saw them, I took them without hesitation. They work great and are a good weight. Cork pens are convenient and easy to use. I really like this set because of all the accessories that are included. Best of all, this set comes with a carry case with an integrated accessory pouch. That's great! I've always had the problem that I never had a good place to put my accessories and various legs and I mostly lost them at some point. This product could easily have gotten 5 stars, so why did I deduct a star? This set is about 3-4 inches longer than the other set I have (and all my other trekking poles too). While it doesn't seem like a big deal, after using it a few times, I realized that when it's fully folded, those extra few inches makes it a lot more of a hassle to pack, carry, and store. As much as I like these sticks love and like Well they work my needs dictate that I prefer the same small and compact sticks. as much as possible .
