my daughter loved them as soon as she tried them on and refused to take them off even though they were too warm for her. They are very stretchy and light but not transparent, at least not black. I'm her size 12. She usually wears a 10-12 in Kids' Corner and a 10 in Old Navy. The leggings were a few inches below the knee, just what I was looking for.
