Ok that's an update, I have Underwater Audio and have spoken to Chelsea. She was an amazing customer service representative (for lack of a better title) and took care of all my needs very well and efficiently. She was familiar with the product and was willing to do whatever was asked of her to make sure everything went well and I was happy! I was impressed to say the least! I will receive a new device via express mail and can return the defective device in the same box/packaging when I receive it. Not only did she know everything about the product, she was exceptionally kind and friendly, which made me feel like there was no fault on my part and that a bad product could be made from time to time. Underwateraudio did not insist that they get the defective unit back before sending a new one and they did not let me pay for shipping. My new pad should be here in about 2 days. I particularly liked the express delivery of the replacement and the way I was treated didn't feel like I did anything wrong to make the unit not working. No guiding questions just good old fashioned customer service and the person who spoke English, American was perfectly understandable and very genuine, not at all condescending as many returns specialists/sellers can be. Customer service (in my opinion ). experience.) I would recommend this company to anyone looking for products they sell. I assume the replacement block will perform as well as the other review blocks without any issues. She told me that there is a way to switch playlists if more than one is loaded on the device, but we got into a conversation and I forgot to get instructions on how to do it. I will send an email to know the procedure this way it will be in writing. This is a great feature, I think they should mention it in the description as the memory is huge. Perhaps they could write a short product insert explaining how this works for future customers and post it on AMAZON as well.
