The mascara is not as rich as I would like.

I purchased this item to complete a black and white project I started with Sakura Pigma Micron pens. When they arrived I continued with the project, but to my dismay the Micro-Line ink wasn't as deep black as the Pigma Micron ink. Compared to each other, Micro-Line inks appear a very deep slate gray as opposed to the deep, rich blacks of Pigma. I needed to maintain color consistency in my project so they were returned. However, for beginners who don't have a particular need for deep color saturation, pens are ideal. They are of good quality and work perfectly. One small point: the nib size is marked on the cap of the pen, not the body of the pen. If you're working with multiple pens and the pens come loose from the bodies, there's a good chance the wrong cap will end up on the pens, showing the wrong size. Pigma pens have this information on the cap AND on the body, so you can always pick them up. Just my two cents.

Pros
  • Drawing pencils for artists and designers Master every task with markers. You can choose from multiple nib sizes and choose between a fine nib for serious precision and control or wider nibs for coloring. Lettering, outlines and freehand drawings look great with the chisel tip. Overall an excellent choice.
Cons
  • Unfashionable
