The remote control in the box didn't work but luckily I had others that were reasonably compatible with other LED strip kits I've bought in the past because those things are cheap. searched. There were also plans to install two shorter strips on the tailgate and one long strip on the side flaps of my bed to illuminate the area while driving. I had to remove the reflectors and mount all 4 strips on the tailgate to ensure adequate illumination of the work area.
