I only got them today so can't comment on their longevity or longevity but so far IT'S DAMN CUTE! Pairing: The initial pairing took quite a long time. I then put them in the charging case and pulled one out to listen and as soon as I turned it on it reconnected to my phone without prompting after a few seconds. Sound: I love Sol for good bass and that's it. delivered here. I honestly wasn't expecting much since they are wireless and with headphones, so I was shocked when I put on some hip hop songs with heavy bass. The mids and highs are pretty damn good too. I mean real music lovers can probably pick it apart, but it's boring. It serves its purpose well! Fit: Another shock here, these things don't move. General! This has always been a problem for me because I have freaking big ears so it's really hard for me to find in-ear headphones that stay in place. These things appear to be glued together. Love it! Phone calls: Here's the only weak spot I've found so far. Answering calls is very easy and works very well. Calls seem a little quiet and not very clear. Although the microphone in them works well. However, I haven't tested this part enough to say for sure. I would definitely say this is a 5 star product, ESPECIALLY given the price. Highly recommended. Edit: 11:25 am After about a week I found that now only the left would pair and the right would only pair in mono. I tried their "advice" from the FAQ to turn on two of them at the same time from the case, to no avail. The phone microphone doesn't seem to be very good either. I can hear people well, but unless you're in an empty, quiet house, they won't hear you. Left two stars because if I can somehow pair them properly again the sound is still good and they still suit my needs. But to be honest, if I have to go through this pairing on a semi-regular, I'll most likely get my money back. At this point I would say don't buy it. Edit: 11.27 After speaking to a Sol Republic customer service (30 min wait) there seems to be a mono mode and an "Amps Air" mode. If you're like me and play with it too much, after you've got it doing things like just taking the left side out for calls and then switching to music and taking the right side out separately, it seems to trigger a mono mode where the two buds stop talking to each other. To fix and exit mono mode: 1. Put the earbuds back into the charging case and adjust them until they both light up red2. Remove the headphones from the "List of paired devices" (both over-the-air and mono)3. After a few seconds, remove both earbuds and wait for the indicators4 to flash. In mono mode, one or both earbuds will flash red and white. Double click both earbuds and wait until the light turns white5. Wait a few minutes to ensure both earbuds continue to flash white, then reconnect Amps Air to your phone. Rating has been reverted to 4 stars as this is partly user error but the process is still a little buggy. NOTE: The most detailed review I've ever done. I'm too into it. FML.
