Squeeze the spout when measuring liquid ingredients, that's the main reason I bought them. But the only thing that confuses me is how small they are. I didn't want to clean the big ones, but they're a bit impractical when measuring ingredients. 1/2 cup would be better. I'd say they hold about 1/3 of a cup with room at the top. A- for that. Otherwise they are very good for the liquid aspect. I had a tip twice so I gave it a lower rating for strength, it made a mess. They're actually quite thick, but tapered, making them easy to tip over. However, you may not have it all, flexibility and strength. All in all I highly recommend it. I could get big ones if they have any, that's how I like them. I have already bought two small sets!
