I really like this set. The style is romantic and will no doubt take you back to another place in time. I also bought curtains. The color changes depending on the lighting. It's ecru, but it's not, it depends on the lighting. At other times the tea looks colored and sometimes even white (I mean the background, of course). Red is crimson, not orange, and pink is like blush. It has some blue, as well as some gold and darker ecru branches. It's very pretty and even on the darkest overcast days the room feels bright and cheerful, which isn't easy as I have mahogany furniture. The pillows are a good size and well filled, the duvet is more than enough! The shawls have the cutest little ties and are reversible just like the blanket. You must see this set to appreciate it. It's really wonderful. It's subtly vintage, if that makes sense. Looks great with antiques. hope that helps.
