I bought a cheap (tall) monitor mount solution to mount a second 34" ultrawide monitor on top of my main gaming monitor . The main monitor was already on a regular Ergotron LX mount with a white single mount. I noticed that the mount on the cheap mount was starting to bend and I worried that it would eventually fail - taking out not only this monitor, but the monitor as well. including, in addition to damaging my expensive UpLift table and possibly even my home office floor. This otherwise insanely expensive product is almost cheap compared to the damage that could be caused if this top monitor mount failed. Yes, it's an expensive investment, but it's durable, attractive enough for what it is, comes in white, and offers a ton of flexibility. Not only can I place my two ultra-wide monitors on top of each other, but also side by side, portrait or whatever I can think of. It also has a 10 year guarantee. The white matches my bamboo and white UpLift table perfectly, and it's now much easier to position and align the monitors compared to a single Ergotron LX paired with a budget high stand option (which offered MUCH more). less flexibility). It's a lot of money, but if you need it and can afford the price, just buy it. It's cheaper to buy it now than to go for the budget option anyway and upgrade later.
