Assembling a bar stool couldn't be simpler than this assembly. Black (p) leather feels nice - hopefully it doesn't fade or crack too quickly. Looks wise - I think it looks very good. My only complaint is whether the lifting mechanism will hold up in these units. I'm not overweight (or I don't think I'm 175 pounds) but when I sat down in one of the chairs it quickly sagged a bit. this only happened a few times and I haven't messed with the growth correction. It was where I wanted it, but while sitting and talking to my wife I did a very short and quick dive (maybe half an inch or less?). At first I was shocked myself because I hadn't expected a falling movement. But I couldn't reproduce it. Not sure if the device is just "sagging" or if I'm having bad bowel movements? I don't think it happened in any other chair. Since it only happened a couple of times and I can't repeat it, I've stopped worrying about it. If it gets worse I will contact the manufacturer to see if I can replace it and update my review.
