Made a little video with Whalecam competing with Pivo Red and it wasn't close. So Whalecam follows you without any software. It easily attaches to a regular tripod, but that's about it. The problems I've found are that it's very large, very noisy (your camera picks up the sound) and only does a 360 degree rotation. Any movement in the frame and it will try to track. It's cool that you don't use your hands when you speak, but who does?
- You can place your phone vertically or horizontally on the mount. It is very stable and you don't have to worry about the phone falling.
