it should be delicious

the cat loves this wet food. Since adopting her from the shelter on New Year's Eve 2014, I have tried many different brands of food, both wet and dry. Overall I have failed with every wet food I have tried and have given up only feeding her dry food with plans to try wet food again at a later date. The wild dry taste was her favorite grain free food, the only one she really wanted to eat, so I agreed. I wasn't sure if she would ever use wet food on a regular basis, but started reading reviews about it. without exception (that I could find) all the cats I've read about it like the dry version of the wild taste as well as the wet version of the wild taste. As it turns out, my cat is the same way. but I've also read a number of reviews where cats just wanted to lick up the sauce and left the chunks uneaten in what appeared to be a new formula. The same goes for my cat: she licked up the sauce and wrinkled her nose at the pieces. But I had a plan of action prepared because one reviewer said she mashes wet food right in the jar with some water. I tried it with an immersion blender, right in the jar like the reviewer said, and it worked great with some water. now my cat leaves nothing. She is crying because of it and doesn't seem to want any more dry food. I might switch her to wet food VERY SLOWLY, haven't decided yet. but I know for sure that she loves this food. she cries because of it - like the animals in the commercial, i always thought it was wrong or they starved the animals to get that answer. There are surprisingly few reviews on Amazon for this product, barely a handful for a 5.5 ounce can, but there are plenty of reviews on other pet sites. The majority of reviews on Amazon are for 3-ounce cans, which really surprised me because a box of 24 5.5-ounce cans costs less than an extra $10 while you get almost double the food : 3 ounces x 24 cans - that's 72 ounces of food for about $22, while 5.5 ounces x 24 cans is 132 ounces of food for $30, typically less than $8 for an additional 60 ounces of food. that's a huge difference in the value of dollars spent.
