From the reviews here and on YouTube I realized it's not stunning. I bought it with the intention of giving up using disposable cotton swabs and covering it with a thin piece of absorbent cotton (tea towel or Moroccan style bath/beach towel) and using it in my ears. It worked perfectly for me. I keep the cotton and swab slightly below the base of the Q-Tip head so as not to go too deep in the ear. The stalk seems strong, but I've only had it a month or two; use it daily. I like to travel light so for me the suitcase is huge for the size of a cotton bud; If I travel with it, I intend to put it in something else.
