The ergonomics are good, the footrest doesn't matter

The product definitely gets good marks for the back support. I got back problems because of the recliner that didn't support my lower back. This chair solved these problems immediately. I also weigh about 255 and it holds up well. Assembly was easy. The kit contained all the necessary parts and tools. Additional screws of each type were also included which is great as on several recent build projects I have had to wait to replace missing or damaged screws. I'm a seasoned DIY enthusiast and it took about 30 minutes to set up from unboxing to testing. The adjustment levers are also in an easily accessible position. Adjustments offer a variety of positions suitable for almost any situation. You can recline all the way to the prone position, but be careful as the chair can become unbalanced and throw you off your back. Adjustable armrests are also a plus. They are adjustable up and down and rotate in or out. The lateral position of the armrests is also slightly adjusted during assembly. You can adjust them inwards or outwards depending on the width of your body. When I first saw the footrest design I was skeptical and I was right. It only works really well if you're almost vulnerable. Otherwise, the weight of your feet will push down on the footrest that keeps the chair upright. I just added a footrest and everything is fine. So don't pay too much for a model with a footrest. Overall, for the price, this chair is hard to beat. It looks good, is durable and well designed for back support.
