I ordered grey. It's medium grey. Pure grey, not brown/grey. The fabric is very soft, light and airy. It's long enough that the amount of fabric around the neck compensates for its lightness and airiness. Super soft and attractive. I hand washed it in cold water with mild soap before using it as a virus precaution. air dried. It just turned out perfect. There are no problems with washing. It's long enough to create attractive folds and cover the neck without being too tight or too loose. I've used it before and it's warm but not too hot. It's great to have an alternative to scratchy, knotty synthetic gaiters. Excellent purchase.
