3XL: I wore these shorts on vacation to the beach in La Jolla a few days ago. I received next day delivery in black and they arrived next day as promised. Fits great but after reading other reviews I went up a size. They last a long time, at least for me. I'm 5'5", but that didn't bother me. They fell a little longer than halfway between the knee and ankle. I've been swimming in these pants for hours with no problems. They're very comfortable. I didn't have time to try them to wash after vacation but they didn't have any weird smell or anything I'm very happy and will be buying more in other colors.
