I usually wear jeans with a medium to high rise and long shirts. So when the waistband of my jeans gets a little loose, I don't like wearing bulky fashion belts or even low profile leather belts with smaller buckles because they damage delicate fabrics and are see-through (lumpy). This belt solves both problems. The belt isn't very attractive so I wouldn't recommend wearing it with shirts that show your waist, but if like me you like longer shirts or tunics this is a great belt. It's wide enough to fill a standard belt loop and is strong so it doesn't leave gaps at a too-loose waist. I have already recommended this belt to friends and colleagues. I think this is a great product.
