This pattern looks a lot more complicated than it actually is. The pattern consists of squares and half-square triangles and is easy to follow. I used fewer fabrics and repeated them, resulting in greater impact of the design itself, thereby saving the amount of fabric needed. I did it in lapsize and also in queen. This is a great pattern for a men's quilt as it is geometric.
