I have no idea why they aren't more popular

On first hearing I was immediately impressed. More structured bass compared to the Aria, which suits more genres (I only said texture, not quantity), cleaner highs and better detail reproduction. It's not as edgy as Aria can be on some songs with her innovative female vocals. In addition to the sound, the supplied case and cable are also of higher quality. In addition to being an L-shaped plug, the Aria cable tends to get tangled when you take it away and it feels like a throw-in overall. The MS2 cable feels good, looks good and is a straight connector.
