I am very glad that I bought this sling! I have a summer baby bath that I got as a gift for the birth of my first daughter. As we grew, we removed the bandage. I recently gave birth to our second daughter and couldn't find a bandage anywhere. I thought I could bathe her without him, but bathing a newborn with one hand is much more difficult and scary. That's why I buy this sling. I love the padding and the fact that I can lower or raise the leash a bit into the water even when it's already in the water. It's much easier to bathe a baby with both hands. I hung it over the vent to dry, so mold shouldn't be a problem.
