Nice colors, fairly good quality for the price

These are pretty good eyeshadows for the price. Seriously, for under $2 a color, the quality is pretty decent. I have the adventurous square and you have white gold, olive green, bronze brown and dark cocoa brown. The first three are frosty and the last one is matte. The frosts are a bit gritty but still blendable. Matt soft. They all have a LOT of radioactive fallout, so be careful. Make sure you shake off any excess product before applying it to your eyes or you'll end up with a mess. The pigmentation is okay, but it all depends on how you apply it. I've included swatches showing color intensity using 3 different techniques - fingertip, foam applicator included, and dense makeup brush. Using fingers gives the best color reproduction and fewest dropouts, but it's not exact. Using an applicator or brush is more accurate but produces less paint and more fallout. However, this can be improved by lightly dampening the applicator or makeup brush with a little water, or adjusting the spray before dipping into the shadows. In terms of longevity, it doesn't live up to the advertised 16 hours, but I really wasn't expecting that. I have normal to dry skin and I have noticed that it starts to wrinkle and wear down the eyelids after about 5 or 6 hours. You can always use a primer and a setting spray if you want it to last longer. Overall this is a good palette for the price. It definitely doesn't compare to high-end shadows, but the quality is on par with other drugstore quads I've tried.
