This is my first time using electric nail clippers and I have mixed feelings about this product. As this is my first experience with electric clippers I was afraid they would pull the nail into the blade but they were actually pretty safe to use. While it "works" in the sense that it trims/files my nails, the process itself takes quite a bit of time. It also files the corners of my nails very roughly, so I end up having to use a regular nail file. If using this on baby and kids nails I'm not sure how patient they will be with the extended time it takes to trim nails. A normal nail clipper would be much faster. The little pocket that holds the nail shavings is also very difficult to turn and the compartment is difficult to completely clear out. I see this as a good option for the elderly but not for toddlers or the average person.
