So far so good for luggage
I've only used them twice but they worked very well. The clip-on hooks are strong and the strap is nice and thick. The ratchet mechanism makes a very reliable impression. I tied my bike down and it didn't move at all. If they last, this is a good buy. Update: I've used them a few times including on an extended weekend trip with my bike in tow for hundreds of miles. So far no problems.
