Review on Experience Thrilling Speed With RC Boat Toy: Perfect For Outdoor Fun & Ideal Gift For Kids by Pushkraj Barton

(We got this when it was $69.99, now it’s $30 off. That’s a steal.)This boat is GREAT family fun, and it doesn’t break the bank. I find it to be worth the $70, but after 3 uses out on the lake, we almost lost it for good. My advice to you is. beware of going backwards with this boat. In reverse it starts filling up with water, if not done slowly, carefully and minimally. If it does fill with water, that in turn makes the boat heavy, and it starts to sink, and rather quickly, so take note of that.My young daughter did it accidentally, and it started going vertically, sinking just like the Titanic. By the time we got the kayak and paddled out, it was ‘gone’ under the water. Luckily, and I didn’t think it was going to happen, we were able to retrieve it, but had it been farther away, I doubt we would have gotten it back.Aside from THAT… this boat is tons of fun! (In the short video clip you can hear my kids arguing to see who can use it, as they each want their own, lol.)My kids took to the remote control faster than I did. They learned how to steer it within a minute or two. I took a bit longer, lol. If you could practice in a pool or something first, IF possible, that’d be great, but the remote control is nice and sensitive. It works great. It goes VERY fast at top speed and could flip, so take caution with that.The battery life is not bad. I wouldn’t mind a back up battery, if possible. This baby is FAST! (See the video clip.) It zooms around like a boss, and glides over the water like it’s riding on top of glass. Such a smooth ride! Very sharp looking, too!It definitely is fun for the whole family, but that one incident did make me quite nervous… I won’t lie. I don’t think this will last forever, as I bet that will happen again or something, but that’s the risk you take with remote control products, especially by sea or by air. It is a blast, and I hope it lasts awhile.Everybody enjoys it! Oh, and I love the pretty purple color. It’s an attractive, little speed boat. Well made and priced decently, as I remember paying more for one back in the day. Me and my young son lost it in about 5 minutes, ha. but this one I like better, overall.
