The white plastic body is too long, causing the medium base LED lamp to have no electrical contact with the socket. I want the white case to be 1/4 inch shorter. Update: Support was very quick to respond to my complaints and even sent a free batch of replacement parts with a shorter body. Unfortunately, replacing the LED lamp didn't work either. (This may work with regular incandescent bulbs, but I haven't tried it.) LED bulbs tend to have a slightly wider neck. But given the popularity of LED bulbs, I suggest they test their products with LED bulbs and change the design to make them work with LED bulbs. As you can see from the pictures, "A" is the original part, "B" is the replacement part. "C" is where I used a hacksaw to shorten the body. "C" worked with a medium sized standard LED bulb. "B" didn't work. You can see them side by side in the 4th photo. It must be shortened by 5 mm.
