I've only recently owned the camera and couldn't tell how long the battery lasts when using the camera. Some reports have a somber charge of life. Also, the camera and its downloadable program so it can "talk" to the computer doesn't communicate with my old computer so I can't upload photos to the computer! Was able to do it on another computer with later version. The camera itself has many settings that are very easy to adjust and a wide range of "film" sensitivity (ISO numbers) and image detail settings. I really like the in-camera image processing options that can be applied to an image at any time after it is captured. The black and white playback option delivers a brilliant version, unlike some of the difficult "make high contrast black and white" options that cameras have to choose before taking a picture. The camera is small and very light. I found the in-camera charging to be inefficient - it takes around 3-5 hours to fully charge, while another off-camera charger can only take an hour. If, in my normal use, the camera proves to be as comfortable to use as it was when I first encountered it, I will love it. I have NOT tried to work in cinema yet, so: no comments.
