I really liked these boots until one unlucky day. I noticed that both soles were completely cracked. I was very disappointed. I had another pair of Harley boots that lasted 2 years and the sole started to separate from the shoe. I think I might just stick it on but decided to treat myself to another fresh pair. I expected this pair to last a long time too, but after a few months the sole ripped. I should note that I wear them as office shoes and walk about 4 blocks outside to work every day. Otherwise I wear them every day to run errands, go shopping and the like. Nothing to expect, the sole will tear. I later read another review that mentioned the same issue. I wish I had read more before buying, but that's on me. On a positive note, the shoes fit my feet very well. I love the convenience right out of the box. I feel like they are a little big but I wanted them to fit. I wear 9.5 in tennis shoes and chose 9.5 in these boots. Even with the thicker socks I wear in winter to keep my feet warm, there's plenty of room in the toe box. They can be a bit wider, which I like. It should also be added that one of the zippers was slightly bent due to someone else trying them on and pulling too hard to zip up. Both pairs of Harleys I have owned were initially difficult to zip up. I fix this by taking the melted wax and running it over the zipper a couple of times.
