WOW! Good product. I don't usually leave reviews unless they are absolutely amazing or very crappy. I read the reviews and agree with most people. I was looking for a product that would help me clean hardwood floors with a microfiber mop or dish sponges. I have two dogs that come and go through their dog door all day and they bring a lot of dirt, dirt, yada yada - you get the picture. i am her slave I love the smell of this Black Diamond floor cleaner, it's very light and unobtrusive. Smells like a light version of honeysuckle flowers with hints of gardenia (smells like that to me). Believe me, this is a very light scent. I usually mop my floors with a couple of Mr.Clean sprays to increase the smell. I don't use it excessively, but it still leaves a strong odor (not bad, but still noticeable). I love this Black Diamond scent. Now for the cleaning part. My floors need to be redone. They've lost their original luster (I hate them, but that's another story). When I normally vacuum/sweep mope (with Mr.Clean) my floors get cleaned but they always look streaky, dull, like you just smeared dirt. I hated it even more. Today as always after vacuuming/wiping. Then, using my O Cedars (microfiber) mop, barely damp, I poured the Black Diamond cleaner into a spray bottle and sprayed it over an area of about 6 square feet. started with a mop and worked my way back. Wow, the dirt I picked up dried almost instantly, and no haze, no streaks, no dirty/foggy look on the floors. Since the floors are old, they have never looked so good. Next time I'll skip my usual mr. Move cleanly and use easily. First I'm going to mop it up lightly in the spinning mop bucket instead of spraying it. (just try something different - some reviewers say the same thing). In any case, this is an exceptional product. Oh, you can buy different sizes (multiple gallons). It's cheaper to buy a gallon than the 2 gallon tab. Why pay more for two gallons together when you can buy two gallons separately and still pay less - We're so used to buying in bulk and I guess sellers rely on people not being careful. Do the math. I will also put Black Diamond cleaner in a small garden sprayer (just for this purpose). to clean the floors - I have one that I've never used. It sprays a fine mist and it will be easy. Easier for me - Just a thought for others. You don't need to spray your floor much, especially if you start with a slightly damp mop. You might think it doesn't clean, but it cleans. I have added some photos of my mop after using this product and after rinsing. I thought my floors were clean before they weren't. but the surprise was the sheen, not the veil/stripe. Great, great product. Oh I did a local search to buy this. Walmart, Target, HomeDepot. yeah yeah yeah nobody had it. I've also used it with my microfiber mop to wipe down the wooden base of my bar table and leather high chairs. I hate moving chairs, dusting and cleaning. This product, wiped, wiped, everything down, as well as all chairs/leather included. It dried instantly, it was almost the same as using a dust spray. I don't spray the furniture, just the moisture that remains on the mop. Wow, another great use for this product. I am so excited and it has saved me a lot of work and my house smells great looks great. So now I will buy more. Eli - slave of my two dogs! The two photos here show the dirt picked up by the microfiber mop (after I've already washed the floors), the second photo shows my floors without a haze. Stripes - if he can make my ugly floors look that good - imagine what he'll do to your shiny new floors. the product leaves no oil film or anything else that I noticed. It's almost a miracle product.
