Good strong scratching post There are only two things I don't like. First, the Hammett cannot move to the right side of the tree. It would have been better for me if he was on the right because of my furniture arrangement. Secondly, in closed compartments there is a carpet only in the back. It needs to be nailed to the board. I'm afraid only if the carpet is gray, the cat's claws will eventually poke holes in it and eventually tear it apart. The padding is nice and comfortable on the upper and so far none of mine have used it. They seem to like closed compartments. In general I like the tree and it wasn't difficult to assemble!
