Got this in August 2015 and have been using it in the home office as a standing desk ever since when I don't feel like standing up. In general, this works very well. The only complaint is that every now and then (perhaps every few days) the piston holding the seat will suddenly start leaking and the seat will drop to its minimum (worth removing the star). . Easy enough to fix by just getting up and pulling the lever to bring it back to the desired height, but still annoying, especially when I'm on a video call and slowly lowering myself out of sight to everyone's delight. (And I'm 165 pounds, so it's not like it wasn't designed to support weight.) Overall, though, it's good for the price and it lasts longer than I expected. However, it may need to be replaced soon.
