If you want to enhance the look of your online video conference, some kind of light source is almost essential. I've provided a couple of screenshots, one with the light off and one with the light on, in both cases the light in the room is on. This light, acting as a key light, definitely helps make my face stand out from the background. The light has 10 different brightness settings and 3 mode settings. The 1st mode is a yellowish incandescent light, the next is a combination of yellowish light with bright white and the 3rd mode is bright white. In the photos I used a color combination (2) with a brightness of about 5. The lamp comes in beautiful packaging and includes a light, mini tripod with bendable legs and a clip to attach to a laptop or thin desktop monitor (It will only limit my 3 desktop monitors to 1, the other 2 are too fat). The clip also fits perfectly with my mic stand which can provide many placement options if you have a spare stand. The light comes with an attached USB power cord that is 5-6 feet long (I didn't measure it). Installation is easy. Just plug it into an available USB port or Cube USB charger (like you use for your phone) and place the light in the right spot. In the screenshots I took, the light was aimed at my monitor using a mini tripod, slightly to my right as I stand in front of the monitor and work in OBS Studio. I suggest playing around with the settings to achieve the desired look and feel of the application you will be using for your conference as in my case there seems to be platform to platform differences. Usage is most likely sitting on your desktop. There is a mounting hole on the bottom that is a standard size for tripods and other mounts like the ones I use for my action cameras. This results in endless possibilities for mounting and positioning the light. Since the flashlight uses USB powered LEDs, it can also be used on the go if you have a USB rechargeable battery. I highly recommend this light to anyone looking to improve the overall look of their online video image. When I bought it they offered a discount coupon for an additional 15% off. I think my total cost, including taxes, was a few cents over $22. I find the light is perfect for what I need to get rid of the feeling that I'm lecturing from a dungeon or a bomb shelter.
