So where do I start. I first found that shortwave and mediumwave were amazing. The stations were clean. The side button that changes the tone from low to high didn't work for me. I have hearing problems so the difference in sound was negligible. DX, Norm, local counters did what they were supposed to. I only found two problems. First, the radio responded to nearby power sources. By close I mean 10 feet or closer. Everything from computer power supplies (the worst) to cell phone chargers. The manual recommended not listening while charging. The second is a small speaker. That's probably why I couldn't tell a low note from a high note. I recommend adding a speaker to the audio jack. All in all I think this is a great little radio. It even comes with a travel case.
