These are a nice weight material with plenty of stretch. Would like to have the legs a bit longer. That said, I'm right between sizes (MED - L) so went with the M thinking with the stretch I'd be OK. Not really. I have a 34-35" waist so the L would likely have fit better. Got the blk/gry as I was reading something about a difference in materials than the 'bright colors'. Will order more a size larger down the road.Edit: bought these about 2 years ago and loved them. Time for new shorts so ordered again Aug. 2019. Not sure what they've changed but as others have said, material is thinner and is pulling away from the waist band after only a few wearings/washings. Can no longer recommend.
