So I have mixed feelings about this item. Even though I pay the same for furniture as I did 5 or 10 years ago, the quality really seems to be going down. Firstly, assembling this toy basket was quite easy. It took just under half an hour and they gave lots of extra screws and parts just in case. After assembly, everything looks the same as in the picture. It's very cute and perfect for my 2 year old son's room. There is plenty of storage space in the lower baskets and on the top shelf, ideal for large children's books. The containers are a bit small, but they are great for small toys or parts of larger toys. One of our main problems with this is that while each screw is tightened as tightly as possible, the part is slightly loose and not entirely tight. The top wobbles a bit when moving which is disappointing. It's also made of chipboard, which has already cracked a bit. I remember that furniture used to be more durable and made of more durable materials - now items can't last more than a couple of years because they break easily and don't have durability. Especially as children's furniture, which is exposed to much rougher use than furniture for adults. All in all, this is a cute addition to any nursery or child's bedroom, but don't expect it to last very long.
