I've bought other outfits for my dog and they didn't quite fit. This one fits perfectly and the leash hole is in the right place for the harness we are using! It's also easy to put on. I refuse to buy jackets with buttons or zippers at the bottom. They are too difficult to put on. I love how this jacket works in all weather conditions and can double as a rain cover too. It covers the tummy area which is great as my 6 lb dog gets his tummy wet from the grass. I wear a slightly thicker jacket when the weather drops below 0 degrees. I love how the hood rolls up. Bonus points for being super cute. I am now buying a second one for my other dog as he has stopped growing! I have XS for my 6 pounds. And I will get an S for my 10 lb dog. Edited to add: I got an S for my other dog and she has a few minor issues. There are threads everywhere. But most importantly, the middle section was sewn to the very edge of the Velcro, making one hand hole larger than the other. And as a result, when wearing the coat, the corner of the middle part sticks out of one of the armholes. It's hard to describe. I rebooted and now everything is fine. But the front part that closes at the chest is too tight. Maybe he needs a different size. But the rest of the jacket seems to fit perfectly. I can't return or exchange it because I changed it.
