I own a Samsung S5 Galaxy. This item fits perfectly. The original charging cable will charge slower 60% of the time when plugged into a 110 volt outlet. I had to turn it on and off, change the polarity of the plug, or use a different 110 volt outlet. If I could get it for a quick charge, it would be 20% fully charged in about 40 minutes or 3 hours! With this cable system, the charging speed is ALWAYS FAST! The cable is reinforced with a wrap around the central core and a rubber extension behind the connectors. All this is not in the original cables.
