These are the highest quality pads you can put on a Tahoe. Akebono are the ones that come with the car from the factory. I put over 100,000 miles on the original so why ruin something good. If you just go to a GM dealer they most likely will NOT sell them to you, of course they have access to them but they are more expensive, profit margins are low and they last too long. AC Delco offers 3 levels of brake pads: OEM (these), Durastop Pro and Durastop Advantage. OEM are made by Akebono in USA, low quality Durastop is made in Mexico/India/China which is cheapest. Do yourself a favor and spend a few bucks more, they last 3x longer and don't get dusty or squeaky.
