I'm an avid gamer and streamer and the speed of my internet connection is the difference between winning and losing online matches and tournaments. Here are some numbers for context. I'm paying for 1000Mbps download speed with Cox Gigablast Service: WITHOUT THESE CABLES (but still using regular ethernet cables): - Laptop - 83Mbps - Xbox One - 107Mbps - Personalized PC - 95Mbps *** THESE NUMBERS ARE THE AVERAGE OF 5+ TESTS ***WITH CAT7 CABLES: - Laptop - 150Mbps - Xbox One - 683Mbps - Personalized PC - 894Mbps *** THESE NUMBERS ARE THE AVERAGE OF 5+ TESTS*** I even went so far as to test other Cat8 cables I found on Revain and NO CABLE has beaten the numbers I see above. By the way, I check my speeds once a day to make sure all my devices have the power I need to play. I will say that some devices, especially if they are as old as my laptop (5 years old), may not work. be able to achieve higher internet speeds. Even my Xbox One doesn't get over 700Mbps. However, my home-made PC shoots well over 900 at times. THAT SHOWS that it's not the cables that are to blame, but sometimes your own devices! Hope this review helps!
