This is an incredibly well made and hard-wearing woolen buff. I've been using it for a few months now and it does a good job with a scarf or in case my ears get cold / I'm just in too much of a hurry to grab a hat keeps my head warm. Wool's quick absorbency helps me stay warm and dry. In addition, compared to other wool products, it is soft and does not scratch. I bought another one for my girlfriend. It suits my needs better than wearing a large scarf and when needed the second one can easily replace a hat and both pack compactly into the jacket when you arrive at your destination.
