I always forget to pick up outgoing mail from my desk and put it in the mailbox when I leave the day, even if it's underneath leave my keys So I wanted to hang something on the door but not something too big, I also wanted it to be see through so I could see it when I walked out the door. Sometimes I also have a small bag of snacks or maybe a bag of something that I leave somewhere. That works great. I don't know how anyone would feel if they had this hanging right on their door. But I go out the back door, I don't care about the looks/decor. That works great. I haven't forgotten to take the mail with me once since I started using it. My husband just hung it at eye level and now every time I open the door I see it and grab what's there. I can leave mail in it all weekend. And everyone in the house knows that the outgoing mail has to go there and the next person out of the house carries it to the mailbox or post office.
