You get what you pay for.

Just had my third night drinking and wanted to change sleep pattern because the first two didn't sleep well. This isn't the cradle I wanted, but my husband didn't want to spend $1,400 on something we would only use for a short time, so we went with this one. sleeps well with him. He is 2.5 months old, only wakes up 1-2 times a night to eat. I like that there are 5 speeds so we can wean it over time. I have mixed feelings about him passing out on his own after so many years. Sometimes he seems to wake him up, which upsets the tired mother. Sometimes it doesn't bother him and we still sleep well - so I like it on those nights because it shows me he doesn't need exercise to get a good night's sleep. What I don't like, I don't like The white noise features are pretty quiet compared to how noisy the bassinet actually is. After about 2 weeks of only overnight operation the motors start to get very noisy (and very annoying to hear when trying to sleep). It doesn't hide white noise at all, and I have to turn on a second white noise machine to block it out a bit. Not sure if we can smear it somehow, but it's quite annoying - I have to remember we paid $300 instead of $1400, so that's how it is. The plan was to resell it once we were done with it, but I think that would limit the amount we could get for it. Either way, if you don't want to spend your mortgage payment on a cradle for your baby - that's a good deal for what it is! Chances are your kid can handle it, and you'll end up with extra bucks in your pocket.
