Review on DWR Goose Down Comforter Queen by Carrie Porter

Buying certain products online is really difficult, reviews can often be confusing and sometimes misleading. I will try to describe everything about this blanket and answer any questions I would like to know about this product before purchasing it. First, it's nicely packaged. When opening, the first thing I wanted to do was make sure there was no smell. It practically does NOT smell of chemicals and feathers. No one. This blanket is VERY well stitched, no protruding seams, well-made tabs to attach to bedspread, very soft and comfortable. It does NOT make a loud crackle, it's fabric so there is some noise but very minimal compared to others I've had. Did I mention it's so comfy, fluffy and soft! The color is truly white, not yellowish or off-white. No feathers escape or shift, there are no hard feathers, they are absolutely soft down and feathers. I would call it a bit too easy, not too difficult, not too easy. It's not overly fluffy/chubby, but neither is it flat and flimsy like some might be. I think the attic is ideal. I don't sweat with it at all. If you are looking for a good value quality duvet/quilt I would say for the price this is not only perfect but amazing. Anyone who wants a huge fluffy blanket will have to look elsewhere and spend a lot more money. I'm very picky and hard to please, so when I tell you it's quality, you can believe it. It's so good I bought another one for my spare room. I almost hated covering it with a duvet cover, but I want it to stay clean, so I bought a $28 Bedsure duvet cover, and it took the comfort to the next level. I didn't wash the comforter to describe how it would hold up as it was ready to use. The quality is so good that I don't expect any problems with washing.
