I've been using Merrell minimalist sneakers for a long time, as well as Lem and Vivo minimalist sneakers. I was excited to try something along those lines, right down to the thin, flexible outsole, but for less than half the price. At first they really impressed me. They are very light and comfortable, with a nice thin and flexible sole with cleats. Unfortunately, they didn't hold up well: the soles of both shoes came off after three months of walking through the city in the light. There were also holes in the upper, although to be honest the holes didn't get any bigger or affect the function of the shoe. The budget minimalist shoe was too good to be true. Even though I've paid more for Merrells, they're still cheaper as they last a year or two on me compared to a few months on them.
