In winter I keep the house COLD and everyone else in the family complains about it. This warm throw is the perfect solution for family members who are otherwise shivering on the couch trying to enjoy the TV. A blanket is smaller than a regular blanket so you won't be overwhelmed. Soft on both sides. Decent cable length. You can feel some of the internal wires through the fabric on one side, but it's not uncomfortable. Heats up fairly quickly and the auto shut off after 4 hours is a safety feature I always choose on a heated product. All good things aside, at $70 it's about the same as a traditional electric blanket: I'm not sure that's a great price. given the smaller size you get here. There is also a HUGE security tag sewn onto the blanket (see photo) which is scary to take off!
