Review on 👧 Cozy and Stylish: MeMoi Girl's Cotton Sweater Tights for Warmth and Fashion by Lily Ellison

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Durable, soft but runs small

Short tights are excellent durable tights, but they run small, appear skinny and shrink. Long - I needed gray tights for my girls because they have to wear gray stockings or tights to school and it's getting colder. limited budget to pay for our girls school so i picked these for my oldest daughter because they only cost $10. While a little pricey compared to Walmart and Target, it's a good price for Revain, and I wanted a long-lasting product (quality over quantity and all), so I decided to roll the dice despite not being familiar with the brand. Pros - they're soft, warm, durable, washes well, don't stick or have holes after the first two washes or after the first wash. The first garment worth the price increase. My daughter is nine and a half and I bought her a size 8. She wears size 7 or 8/M in all major brands. Her Lands End and French Toast button down shirts are a size 8, her Cotton Day knee socks are a size 8, her Lands End sweaters are even a size 7, so I know she's definitely a size 8. I also checked the sizing chart and it's on the bottom end of the weight range and right in the middle of the height range for a size 8. When we received it I washed it and laid it out to dry. The next day my daughter wore them to school and noticed that they were a bit long but also oddly tight (which was a problem because she's small and muscular). I washed them and dried them on a very low temperature the next day hoping they were quite long on her, but they only shrunk them in width instead of length, which is what we wanted. Today, when she got dressed, she flatly refused to put them on. She may have some sensory sensitivity and said they were too tight around her hips and now felt uncomfortable. 😞 Luckily I have another daughter who has a tall but thin figure, these tight ones seem to fit so I will be returning them and keeping them for her next year. So it's not a loss, but now I have to decide what to do for my older and faster one. I like the quality of the material but I'm not sure if going for a size 10 is the solution as her body type doesn't seem like the best option. I will definitely be buying more for my youngest daughter.

Pros
  • Great thickness and quality.
Cons
  • Limited Color Options: Burgundy may not suit all outfits or preferences.
